Music Ministry

The English-speaking service 10:30 is accompanied by piano, drums and guitar, and vocals. This band practises on Thursdays 18:00 – 19:15.

The music ministry is responsible for supporting the selection of songs for the worship, the practice of songs, the organizing of musicians and singers and the accompaniment during the worship.

Special services such as the Christmas Song Service and the Easter worship service are organized by this group.

There are various opportunities for music service:

• The Afrikaans Service 09:00 in the Church family service is supervised by our organist, Amanda Venter
• The Afrikaans family-friendly family service 09:00 is guided by a combination of piano / keyboard, guitars and vocals, as people are available.
• The Afrikaans Service 18:30 is accompanied by a band with keyboard, drums, guitar etc., led by Karl Muller

One Saturday a quarter all these groups practice and play together and share music with each other. At the quarterly community service, all of the different services’ bands play and sing.
